The axiomatic theory of multilateral indices of prices and quantities is developed. The new index formula (Multilateral Symmetrical Index) is proposed. Due to it’s mathematical features Multilateral Symmetrical Index is definable for semipositive matrices of industrial outputs in natural units and outputs in current prices. Multilateral Symmetrical index meets the Circle Axiom (Test) by definition and is applicable for International Comparisons.
REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS
The simulation model of regional socio-economic system formed by system dynamics principles is presented in this study. The decision-support system (DSS) intended for regional development is based on this simulation model. On the basis of statistical information of Rostov region feasible scenario was worked out.
This paper discusses problems of regional policy concerning municipalities. A characteristic of this policy is the combination of the regional balance and the economic growth tasks. We investigate conditions, when municipalities interested in developing their own potential of taxation and investments. Simulation model with the elements of optimization and dynamics was developed to solve these problems. Testing results performed on the data for municipalities Novosibirsk region.
MATHEMATICAL METHODS OF ANALYSIS IN ECONOMICS
Paper deals with complicated modification of the Interregional intersectoral optimization model that considers direct exchange relations and also decreasing efficiency of foreign trade. New types of Walrasian equilibria were given for this modification of the IIOM. Tunnel algorithm for minimization of Equilibrium equation’s discrepancy was developed.
MANAGEMENT
The attempt of structuring of marketing of innovations subject area is made based on its specificity, overview of approaches and foreign researchers concept interpretations. Eclecticism of marketing of innovation is show as well as its close connection with other subject areas. Current approaches and tools of marketing of innovation are described.
Behavior patterns of the manager, authorized by owner to make investment decisions, are analyzed. Results of empirical surveys, proving the importance of manager overconfidence phenomena consideration as an additional uncertainty factor in the investment projects evaluation, are systemized. The influences of manager overconfidence on economic evaluation of oil-and-gas investment projects are examined by applying the modification of the theoretical investment decision-making model introduced by Simon Gervais. The model solution for projects related to the project class under consideration is presented.
