MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS: METHODS AND RESULTS

5–14 114
Abstract

This article analyzes the problems and prospects of economic growth in Russia. Many factors of economic growth involved in the previous period have been exhausted by now. In these circumstances, the question that the authors of the article stress is really normal: namely due to what sources and through what mechanisms Russia will provide economic growth in the future. An important place is given to the analysis of the causes of the crisis in the real sector and in the financial sector, to the criticism of the government's economic policy in the framework of anti-crisis measures. Particular attention is given to the consideration of such factors of economic growth as the restructuring of the economy, to the problem of single-industry towns, to regional priorities, and to the overcoming the destructive elements within the government's economic policy.

Abstract

The paper is concerned with issues of influence of non-monetary factors on inflation in the Russian economy in 2003-2013. Based on a production approach a method of estimation of the influence of non-monetary factors on deflator of gross output is proposed. According to the results of estimations, cost inflation dominates in Russia in the considered period. This conclusion is proven by considerable contribution of intermediate consumption and wages with sharp reducing contribution of gross profit in dynamic of basic prices. Obtained results reveal inefficiency of traditional monetary restriction for suppression of inflation in the Russian economy. The advisability of stimulating monetary policy harmonized with tariff regulation also follows from this study.

Abstract

Modern socio-economic conditions of the Russian economy show the need for innovative methods to promote import substitution of agricultural products. The article considers the topical issue of competitive production of meat and dairy products in the regional market of the Irkutsk region. The necessity of the use of innovative investment mechanisms of production processes of enterprises producing dairy products. In order to ensure effective investment activity there is a need in the development and application of methods for the study of supply and demand of the regional market of dairy products that will ensure the efficiency of investments. In the article the author has proposed a mechanism of the study of supply and demand, which, in our opinion, should be used in the investigation of compliance with proposal dairy products to their demand in the regional market.  The practical significance of this method of research of market capacity is to obtain data about the state of the regional market of agricultural products, which is a necessary condition of development of investment projects aimed at ensuring effective activity of agricultural enterprises.

Abstract

The article is devoted to actual problems of domestic engineering, arising in connection with the difficult financial and economic situation in Russia in the period of 2014-2015 years, when the internal market of the equipment. We analyze the statistical material to assess the status and opportunities of the industry to meet the domestic demand for machinery and equipment of a new generation. The development of the innovation sector of the economy is impossible without rapid economic maneuver for renewal and modernization of production facilities in all the activities. But in reality, the creation of prerequisites for innovation is very slow and requires a large-scale state intervention.

Abstract

The article propose to consider the possibility of RLUF-copulas application for the creation of joint distributions of overdue credit indebtedness ranks with macroeconomic indicators for the purpose of indebtedness forecasting and also for the definition of optimum volumes of reserve requirements for the corresponding losses. In this research the comparative analysis of multivariate distributions of RLUF-copula estimation with such classical copulas, as FGM-copula, Frank's copula and Gauss's copula is made. In the article the method of maximum likelihood is used for receiving estimates of model parameters. In case of RLUF-copula Bayesian estimates of parameters are received using the Metropolis algorithm with random volatility. Forecasting of bank reserve volumes for all received models is executed in the form of random sample generation by the means of the algorithm of acceptance-deviation for the creation of the corresponding sample of joint distribution using the copula density function. As the result of playing of hundred possible scenarios of indebtedness volumes is obtained the 95% confidence level for the possible volume of credit indebtedness which can fully act as the optimum volume of reserve requirements for the corresponding credit losses.

Abstract

The objective analysis and forecasting of heatsaving in Russia are very difficult now as the statistical reporting under energy carriers is focused generally on indicators of production of fuel and energy, but not on indicators of their consumption. According to experts the main losses of FER happen when burning fuel on thermal power plant and boiler rooms. One of the main reasons of high losses of energy at a stage of transformation of fuel to electric and thermal energy is use of obsolete technologies of generation. In the part 1 of article the analysis of thermal losses in the Russian Federation and regions of Siberia is carried out. In the part 2 of article the emphasis is placed on the analysis of possibility of reduction of losses of TER due to realization of innovative power technologies. On the basis of a complex of power models (Model of perspective development of energy industry of regions; Reporting and expected fuel and energy balances of regions) the assessment of potential volume of reductions of losses of heat power on the example of the Kemerovo region is carried out.

Abstract

In article the role of predictive science at a present stage of development is defined. Features of forecasting in relation to difficult social and economic systems are specified. Need of increase of attention of the state to a problem of preservation of health of the nation is proved. Decrease in a role of health resort in the state health system and the decrease in public financing of this area accompanying it is established and proved. Need of studying of current state and development for the future of separate parameters of sanatorium systems and markets is proved. Current state of a question and degree of its study is presented: general condition of a readiness of scope of research; degree of a readiness of scope of research in relation to recreational and improving and sanatorium systems. Terminological components of research are expanded, including concepts methods of forecasting and model of forecasting are opened. The conditions and factors defining specifics of forecasting in the market of sanatorium services as difficult social and economic system are considered. Influence on specifics of forecasting of a factor of the hierarchical structure of the market of sanatorium services is opened. Influence of object and parameters of forecasting for the used forecasting methods is defined. The characteristic of influence on use of methods of forecasting of degree of availability of information is given. On the basis of the analysis of special and scientific literature classification and degree of applicability and priority of methods of forecasting to specifics of the market of sanatorium services, depending on the hierarchical level of the analysis is presented. The matrix of applicability and priority of use of methods of forecasting of the market of sanatorium services as one of components of methodology of the system analysis of current state and development in the future of the sanatorium industry at various hierarchical levels is offered.

Abstract

Modern economics has developed  a number of areas of the system for controlling the distribution of finished products. However, in domestic and foreign economic literature the mechanisms of logistics approach are not sufficient to provide higher sales of enterprise-producers, that have sales in remote areas. In this study, first, the importance of company-producers and end-users the methods of rational delivery of finished products is considered, and secondly, the approaches to defining the essence and content of the concept of "distribution" are given, in the third, the logistics processes of the distribution system ready products of a particular company-producer are described, fourthly, the technology of one price product delivery was developed and it was shown the economic efficiency (the possible results of the solution of the problem of distribution logistics) of its application in the target company. The study showed that there is an opportunity, based on the development and implementation of technologies to reduce the final price of the goods, to develop the company and increase its competitiveness by minimizing costs and increasing return on investment. The results of research extend the knowledge of methodology of system logistics management in the enterprise.

Abstract

The introduction of innovation products is necessary for passing the domestic economy to the innovation way.  The majority of Russian enterprises gives preference to technological innovations, paying much less attention to nontechnological innovations. In this article is conducted the analysis of organizational innovations as of 2013 on the basis of the indicators, included in the monitoring, conducted by the ministry of formation and science RF, by the Federal Service of state statistics and HSE. The comparative analysis of organizational innovations is carried out according to the different indices; on the separate I see organizational innovations -  on I see economic activity. Is evaluated the current state of organizational innovations in the organizations, which achieved separate forms of organizational changes, in the total number of organizations.  Analysis is accompanied by author's commentaries. It is shown that not one of    the indices included in monitoring does not reflect the effectiveness of organizational innovations, although are represented data on the innovation activity of organizations.

REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS

Abstract

At the last decade the XX century socio-economic and institutional conditions for development of Russian cities changed dramatically, which inevitably increased their differentiation and intra-regional economic and social inequality considerably exceeds the interregional inequality. Most of the studies on spatial socio-economic differences in Russia, however, focus on interregional inequality. City inequality is scrutinized to a far lesser extent; and little attention is paid at all to researching the factors that underlie such inequality. The purpose of this study was to investigate the dynamics of socio-economic disparities between large and major cities of the Russian Federation for the period 2001-2013 in the context of factors that determined these processes. We consider both objective factors (size of the city, its specialization, administrative status, geographical location) and policies implemented by various levels of authorities. The paper presents a central-peripheral aspect of the analysis; which is more adequate to the reality of non-uniform pattern of development of the Russian cities.

The study found strengthening of leading position of cities of Moscow agglomeration, oil and gas towns of the Tyumen region, the largest cities in the South of Russia in terms of socio-economic development and the increasing concentration of factors of development in regional centers, which is reinforced by the policy of federal and regional authorities. As a result, a set of cities decomposes into two groups - the regional capitals and non-capital cities. Homogeneity of each group become larger and the difference between them increases. The study expands knowledge about the dynamics and factors of development of large and major cities of the Russian Federation for the period 2001-2013.

METHODOLOGY AND METHODS OF SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCH

Abstract

Sociology of the city has come a long way in the study of the urban environment. It is focusing its attention on various aspects of life because the city is no longer just a place of life of its citizens. In this study, we will focus on the territory of the Akademgorodok owned the Novosibirsk, and try to identify the generated image of the territory among its inhabitants. Thus, we understand how representations of the territory may differ and contact between its inhabitants. Fragmented image of territory may lead to a reduction of territorial identity, the decline of culture within the territory and the whole city, reduce the inflow of investment capital and other undesirable consequences. It is thus important to explore and understand the image of the territory, and, subsequently, to identify gaps that need to be improved, and the positive effects that should be supported. Perception of the territory considered in terms of the emotional aspect, which is manifested through the territorial identity of the residents and through the pragmatic aspect, is manifested through the territorial interests of the inhabitants of Akademgorodok. We have identified the main types of images in the perception of the territory based on the analysis of collected interviews. We also describe the constituent elements the image of territory by analyzing mental maps of Akademgorodok.
