Evaluation of ownership concentration andintegration in corporate sector for wood-processing industry in the Russian Federation
Abstract
The article analyzes main trends in the development of integrative strategies of Russian wood processing companies in 2001–2010. We demonstrate the role of major drivers of corporate control and integrative processes in the wood processing and manufacturing sector. Based on unique database of merger and acquisition deals (M & A), we quantitatively describe the characteristics of integrative processes and evaluate the intensity of announced transactions along with transaction types and directions.
