The actor-network analysis of amateur theater groups of the Novosibirsk region

Abstract

The article reflects the key provisions of Actor-network theory presented by the Paris branch – works of B. Latour,  M. Kallon and their followers. The ideas of social network and interactions through various actants and mediators applied to the analysis of amateur theater groups, their rehearsals and performances which has their own theater existence laws. Analysis of the observations, questionnaires, analysis of documents (passports of theaters) allowed to reveal the activities of theater amateur groups and the specific content of constituting practices.
