Identification of lending areas subject to credit rationing
Abstract
Consumer loans and loans to small- and medium-scale businesses as well as appropriateness of credit rationing are examined in the article. The method developed for analysis of heterogeneous samples of borrowers in case of bank’s inability to distinguish the types of borrowers while the latter are unaware of their solvency is presented.
