Intellectual property as an indicator of state innovative economic development

Abstract

Paper deals with the relationship of growth rate of intellectual property (IP) and the growth rate of GDP. According to the results of the study it was concluded that GDP growth is associated with the growth of intellectual property abroad, as GDP is determined by the growth of high-tech production and export of high-tech products. Russia in comparison with the other countries does not increase its presence in foreign markets, so we can’t speak about the innovation stage of development of the country.
