Place of cluster theory in modern approaches to regional development
Abstract
The article deals with the basic content and disadvantages of modern theories of regional development, such as the theory of regional reproduction, polarized development, diffusion of innovation, local growth, adaptability to the conditions of postindustrial society. An analysis of the foundations of the cluster concept, its relationship with the above theories.
