Features and controversies of the integration cooperation in the post-soviet space

Abstract

The article reveals the necessity and the objective principles of strengthening integration processes in the former Soviet Union. As a reflection of these processes, the role of the Customs Union of Russia, Byelorussia and Kazakhstan is investigated. The author shows a nature and a meaning of Customs Union formation for the economy of three countries. The main aspect of the article is a characterization of development stages in integration cooperation, of improving its legal framework directions and the description of the problems, which sprung up on this way.
